Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower Engagement Session | Tanya & Alex

I love shooting at new creative places and I was so excited when Tanya decided on the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower in Baltimore. The Bromo Tower is a clock tower with a grungy, gritty, industrial feel.  Tanya and Alex absolutely rocked out this session and we can’t wait for their wedding next year! Enjoy a few of our favorites

Oatlands Plantation Leesburg Engagement Session | Rebecca & Jay

When we were discussing location for their session, Rebecca reminded me that they both love seasons and the beautiful changing colors in the fall. Oatlands Plantation came to mind and when I suggested it, Rebecca told me they almost booked their wedding at Oatlands! Oatlands was just perfect. Also, to personalize the session a little more I told them to bring something that was special to them. Rebecca is known for her chocolate chip cookies so she decided to bring a jar to the session! We had some fun with the cookies and then promptly devoured them.;-)

Baltimore First & Franklin Presbyterian Church Wedding | Anitta & Ron

Love is in the air! If it wasn’t for a long layover in Dallas, Anitta and Ron would likely still be acquaintances that live in different states. Anitta was stuck in the airport on a really long layover and she remembered her friend Ron who lives in Dallas. Ron, being the gentleman he is, picked up Anitta and took her into the city so she wouldn’t be stuck in the terminal until her flight. Little did they know that this was just the beginning.

Anitta and Ron had their ceremony at the beautiful First and Franklin Church in Baltimore. With a nice long break between the ceremony and the reception, we went to the Inner Harbor with the bridal party for some pictures. Afterward, it was on to the BWI  Westin for the reception. The evening was full of entertaining dances and beautiful traditions. Ron even surprised Anitta with a choreographed dance  he did with his groomsmen.  Enjoy a few of our favorites!!

An Old Town Fredericksburg Virginia Wedding | Katherine & Kevin

Katherine & Kevin’s ceremony and reception venues were very personal to them. The ceremony was at St. George’s in Old Town Fredericksburg. Katherine’s grandparents, her parents, and her brother all got married at St. George’s! As a wedding photographer, it is pretty rare that we see people get married where their parents did much less several generations of family members getting married at the same place. This was pretty unique and cool to be a part of. In addition, Katherine’s grandfather used to be an usher at the church. He would light the candles for evening services. Katherine requested the candles be lit for her ceremony to remind her of her beloved grandpa who has passed.

Their reception was at Katherine’s parent’s home. The house is on a hill and it overlooks the whole town below them. Their house wasn’t short of history either. I believe Katherine’s great grandparents built the house and several generations have lived there. Their home is full of ornate details and the architecture is just gorgeous. Katherine and Kevin, we can’t say enough how great you both were to work with. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Kevin and Katherine - Cicely and Jason are absolutely amazing photographers. From our first meeting with them we knew that they were extremely professional and more importantly, great people. The dynamic that they possess as a married couple works flawlessly as a photographer duo. They are extremely thoughtful and personable to work with, and there wasn’t one time that we ever felt like they were shooting 20+ other weddings plus engagement shoots this year. They are fun, laid back and very easy to work with. Our experience has been nothing but amazing with them and we will continue to tell everyone we come across to work with them. Our photos turned out amazing and we have no one to thank but them for their hard work and dedication to our special day. Thank you again.
Cheers,
K & K

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding | Stephanie & Matt

Stephanie and Matt got married at the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, overcast at times, and just beautiful. These two are really welcoming and the kind of people you feel like you have known forever. They are the kind of couple  you would want to sit down and have a beer with. Speaking of beer, it wasn’t surprising when I learned that Matt owns the Ten Oaks Tavern in Glenelg, Maryland. How absolutely fitting! Once we realized they owned a bar, we knew the party at the reception was going to be epic…and they did not disappoint!

Enjoy a few of our favorites!
