Swan Cove Manor Wedding | Jordan and Quron

Jordan Winn & Co. is a well known and respected hair and makeup company in the Baltimore/Washington area. I was incredibly honored when Jordan asked me to shoot her wedding. Jordan and Q were lovely to work with. While I already knew Jordan, I really enjoyed getting to know Q.

These two were high school sweethearts! It’s pretty rare to see a couple grow, change, and still fall into each other as they become adults. I think Jordan puts it best when she says, “He is the peanut butter to my jelly.”

Their wedding day was amazing despite the on and off rain. We got through portraits just in time for a heavy storm. Through it all both Jordan and Q were cool, calm, and collected. The way they saw it, rain or not, on this day they were marrying their best friend and that was all that mattered.

Enjoy a few of our favorites.

Jones Point Park Engagement Session| Rama & Jay

Rama & Jay love riding their bikes. They also love embarking on a new adventure. For their engagement session we took them to Jones Point Park and asked them to bring their bicycles. The weather was surprisingly cool for August and the sky was beautiful. We had a great time with these two and can’t wait for their vineyard wedding! Check out just a few of our favorites. This is how they roll. 😉

Downtown Annapolis Engagement Session| Leana & Kevin

Sometimes we have unique things in common with our clients. For example, we always find it cool when we meet a bride or groom that is from Florida because that’s where Jason and I grew up. When we met Leana and Kevin for the first time at their engagement session, the things that we had in common were uncanny! They are both from Florida and Kevin grew up in Coral Springs. I grew up in Coral Springs! Then Kevin moved to Tallahassee for high school. Jason went to high school in Tallahassee! Some how birthdays came up and Kevin mentioned how his birthday fell around Thanksgiving. My jaw just fell open. Jason asked when in November and sure enough the two share the same exact birthday as well! BANANAS! Leana went to St. Thomas for high school which was a rival school to mine. Leana is also Italian which I am as well. She is second generation American and I am so jealous that she gets to visit her parents in Italy. Leana and Kevin are also both avid hobbiest photographers so we had a lot to chat about. Kevin plays a trumpet in the Army Band and music is a large part of his life. I asked him to bring his horn to the shoot and I am so glad I did. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Cylburn Arboretum Baltimore Wedding | Rachel & Paul

Rachel and Paul got married at Cylburn Arboretum. While we have photographed there before, I love that it has so many great places for portraits. It’s one of those venues that you have a list longer than your arm of locations you must shoot at. We got to check off a few more stellar portrait locations at this wedding and Cylburn did not disappoint.

Rachel and Paul are just adorable together. I loved watching them interact and enjoy each other’s company.  The day ran smoothly and the decor was spot on thanks to Eventi by Diana. Enjoy a few of our favorites from their wedding day.

Four Seasons Washington DC Wedding | Emily & Bobby

Emily and Bobby are a fantastic, fun loving couple. It’s no surprise they were relaxed and all smiles on their wedding day. Their ceremony and reception was held at the Four Seasons Georgetown. Thanks to Emily Butler of Karson Butler Events, the decor was gorgeous and the day ran flawlessly. I particularly liked the unique altar set up. The altar had a geometric structure behind it set with candles. Amongst the candles were tiny magnolia flowers that filled the room with their fragrant scent. Once we got to the reception, the band was phenomenal. There was even a bourbon bar with a lovely selection of tastings. The dancing never slowed as the night went on. In fact, there was so much dancing that the band played an encore and invited everyone ONTO the stage to dance!!

Without further adieu, here are just a few of our favorites.
